King and Trixie’s Road Trip
Our road trip began when We got news that Grandma Brownlee had A Stroke. We Packed and headed North. We made a pit stop at Westside Skateshop and picked up some stickers, a bottle of Westside hotsauce, an some Cairo LTD’s for The King. We were set for the trip…we even packed a few Enjoy Graphics just in case, and I’m glad we did. We drove thru the night and made a stop in Atlanta to see our friends Melissa and Will at the ETN Radio Station. We were pressed for time so we didn’t stay long. We checked our emails, showered and headed for Weirton, West Virginia. I now know why they make commercials about stopping and asking for directions. It just so happened that both the maps we had were outdated. It seems that Knoxville Tennessee decided not too long ago to rename their roads. So we got lost in Knoxville’s bellybutton. I swear we were driving in circles. We drove, and drove, and drove. We stayed the Night at the Holiday Inn in Bluefield which is somewhere in the mountains. I would like to thank them for keeping the bar open for me. I needed that shot of jagermeister and 6 pack of Coors Light. 24 Hours later we arrived at Weirton Medical center and Grandma is ok. We met some really awesome people along the way including Nurse Betty. Turns out she has 6 dirtbikes and we are gonna hook her up!
Our mission was completed see Grandma. We wanted to visit more family while we were North, but The Network Calls. Even with our New Blackberry 7100G from Cingular…which totally rocks and 2 laptops…we couldn’t get shit done in the car. We did manage to borrow Holiday Inn’s Wireless Network a few times.
The trip was a success! We laughed and learned many life lessons. We figured out Roadtrips are better left to Movies. Next time we Fly, which reminds me…I have to go book our Tickets to Cali to see Dalgart, Steve at Odessa,and Clyde.
Best Moment- Finding out that both maps were wrong and we weren’t crazy
Funniest Moment- Leaving a large cup of coffee with xrta cream and sugar on the roof of the car.
Worst Moment- realizing we were 1000 miles over our oilchange on the way to Ohio

Sammers, you soooo forgot to tell about the “nice, calm, friendly” phone call I got from you on your ROAD TRIP! I especially liked it when you were BEATING the KING while on the phone with me and he just let you and laughed (so him!!) because “he don’t know where the f— he’s goin’”. And, of course, you were STILL just worried about THE PURSE we couldn’t find!! By the way, you’ll be HAPPY to know, I FOUND IT!!!! I know, you love me!! I also want to tell you how VERY PROUD I am of YOU. Keep up the good work, hard work will get you EVERYWHERE and ANYWHERE you want to go.
